My name is of Hungarian origin – in fact, I’ve lived in Germany since early childhood, starting in the Lessing City of Wolfenbüttel, later in the Blade City of Solingen in the Bergisches Land, and now in the Rhineland.
Early Fascination and Curiosity
As a child, I was fascinated by the seemingly hidden and invisible things in life that nevertheless steer the fates of people and the world. I always wanted to understand what moves nature and what deep secrets and meanings lie beneath visible surfaces. My curiosity often led me to the city library as a child, back when there was no internet. There, alongside many adventure novels, I read books that few others my age would have voluntarily borrowed, such as a philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of self-deception or "Man and His Symbols" by C.G. Jung. In addition, I sensed early on through my perception of music that there is also a language beyond words. As much as I would have loved to devote myself entirely to music, it was clear to me as a young person that I first wanted to learn more about the human psyche, which I always viewed holistically, meaning together with the body.
Path to Medicine and Psychotherapy
Towards the end of my school days, I trained as a telephone counselor. This period shaped my desire to study. I wanted to learn about all of medicine, always with the goal of better understanding the "whole" person. After study visits to Budapest, Rostock, and Hong Kong, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in Far Eastern cultures, and after my practical year in a psychosomatic clinic, I initially gained experience as a young assistant doctor in various medical fields such as pediatric surgery, trauma surgery, internal medicine, general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, gerontopsychiatry, and neurology. As a relatively experienced general practitioner and psychiatrist-psychotherapist, I spent my further training years in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, first in Hanover and then in Düsseldorf. Over these years, I participated intensively in supervisions, continuing education, and hundreds of hours of self-experience in individual and group settings.
My Approach as a Therapist
Since 2019, I have been offering my personal experience and professional knowledge as an independent therapist. I owe my therapeutic know-how to important people, relationships, life experiences, my trainers, my patients, and not least to my curiosity about other perspectives. Recognizing meaningful connections and relationship patterns, as well as viewing a "half-empty glass" as "half-full," are some of my strengths. In a respectful, appreciative, and attentive conversational atmosphere, I would be delighted to work with you to discover how you too can achieve this—and more.
